I do not like the polymer lined belts like the G&G's the liners stretch differently than the leather and tend to come apart.

ALso with any double layer gun belt, if you are the type who pulls back on the belt and really cinches the belt up tight, that bending it past 90 degrees really can wear them out fast.

My prior carry belt was the G&C. it wore funny and the stitching sarted coming out so I exchanged it for a mag carrier and some ammo. Streichers was very good about it, even without a receipt.

You can get the same effect by threading the belt then pulling the buckle right and the other end left while sucking in the gut. The 90 degree thing is specifically mentioned as user error or abuse on thebeltman's website.

After all this deliberation I realized that the steel shoot was this weekend and I don't have a belt yet so I went to Streichers and picked up a 5.11 Operator belt ( http://www.511tactical.com/index.asp?dl ... mber=59405 ). It's not exactly what I had in mind but it was $30 and it's pretty solid. I don't have anything hanging off of it yet but it's already nice in that I don't have to pull up my pants every five minutes

I kind of screwed up and got the 1.75" instead of 1.5" but I guess it doesn't matter because I have a paddle attachment for my cheapo holster ;)

How long did it take from order to delivery?
