If it's the .223 Winchester 55 grain soft point, $18 is 2 bucks cheaper than they normally priced it (and sold pre panic). If it's the FMJ... that's the time we're in, at least there was some on the shelf.

If it helps differentiate them in conversation, the Winchester white box, boxer primed, 55gr fmj is usually referred to as Q3131. At least that's what it's referred to elsewhere. I'm guessing the Super-X is in response to the approaching Varmint season. That in and of itself speaks an interesting message. Olin is not just going balls to the wall solely producing high demand Q3131. They are trying to follow a normal seasonal schedule or trying to get back to that point.

Hoot you are correct, I went there again today and found their cart with them on it. I took pics but can't get this darn smart phone to email them right.

They are the super x hunting style rounds.

2100 rounds of Federal .22 LR at Cabelas's Rogers today. 1260 fps. 99$ in a steel can. 20 cans sold out in 5 minutes!

Nope. The panic is not over yet. But there is hope! After you subtract the can (20$ value) that's 3.8 cents per round.

Refreshing to see A M M O hitting the shelves. Gander in Blaine this morning had quite a bit, but it all disappeared in the first hour. 300+ peeps lined the side walk by 0830. Store opened at 0900. Purchases were limited to two bulk packs "or" ten (200 ct or less) boxes of any flavor you prefer. Was a mad house. Many weren't aware of the limits and found out at the register. That's where the second wave of fighting for it occurred. Wasn't able to get near the .22LR  too many people and their carts in the isle. Jeepers. So close yet so far.

Wow, that is good to know, I was debating stopping by after work here but it seems there won't be anything left so I won't even bother then.
