Just remember any thing built to "mil-spec" is going to be also built for the ballistics of the m855 or m80 ammo.
And if you really get to the nuts of it. The two have a similar ballistics rainbow.

I had both.The Eotech is gone now just because of battery life.I actually prefer the Eotech as far as size,reticle,and looks.But battery life won out.
I live in Bloomington Mn!!!!
