This AM both Fleet Farm and Scheels had 9mm and .40 Blazer Brass and various .45, both in St.Cloud...FF's cheaper of the two.

On Saturday, I picked up some Federal American Eagle 9mm & 38 Special at the Fleet Farm in Brooklyn Park. They had a ton of the 38 Special. I couldn't quite tell how much 9mm they had because they kept them pushed way back in the shelving with only two boxes up front. I suspect less than a dozen, though. I think they also had some boxes of Blazer Aluminum in 40 S&W and 45.

Oh, yeah. I paid $12.99 for the 9mm and $16.99 for the 38 Special. Not a bad price, all things considered.

I picked up a box of Remington 110 grain .357 magnum from the West Saint Paul Wal*Mart just yesterday for under $30. It was their last box, but they still have .40 S&W and .223 left. The Wal*Mary in Woodbury (next to the the Gander Mountain) has a bunch of the Federal Bulk packs of .223 for $39/100.

Of course Gander Mountain has ammo, but I'm not going to pay them $15 for a little box of Wolf 7.62x39mm when everyone else sells it for half that.

Just came back from the Apple Valley Wal*Mart about 10 minutes ago and noticed while I was picking up a bottle of Hoppes #9 that they have a pretty healthy stock of the Winchester 100-round 9mm "Value Pak" ammo at $20.97 per box. And no, I did not clean them out of that as I handload in that caliber.

Fleet farm in Oakdale has about 1,000 rounds of blazer brass 40 s&w and about the same in A.E 45 auto and around 300 rounds of UMC in 40s&w. And gander mountain in woodbury has a ton of WWB, but the only problem is they want $80 for a box of 100 rounds of 45 auto, and 100 round box of UMC that i bought at fleet farm $33 they want $68 for. I looked at the guy when he told me the price and laughed, and told him i had bought the same for $33 and was going back to fleet farm to buy some blazer and some A.E.

.375 H&H still on back order through Cabela's. .380 I can get my hands on. My order for .375 has been on back order since Early Dec. They even tried to cancel it on me twice already.

Yesterday Mills Fleet in Brooklyn Park had lots of Federal Power-Shok 12ga slugs for $3.99/box (maybe 50-60 boxes). Nothing real special, but picked up a few in case I decide to go 3-gunnin' some day. Not much for other slugs or buck and what else was there was high $$$. Plenty of birdshot.

Most of their rifle ammo shelves were bare, very few remaining boxes of .308, .30-30, 30-06, 243, 22-250 and a couple other calibers. Didn't have time to check handgun ammo. Fair amount of .223 & 7.62 Soviet, but prices were nothing special.

I did, but there wasn't much there ... some Rem Thunderblahs (brick of 350 for around $11), CCI miniMags & Winchesters. Picked thru pretty good. They did have quite a bit of .17HMR on the shelf.

I went there looking for 40-50 gr .22 WMR & they had a lot of CCI .22WMR 40gr TMJ for about $8.79 (I think)... OK price, but I wanted HP's :x , I have enough TMJ's already.
