.223 at Wal-Mart in BP yesterday, federal 100 packs for $40. Not great but been along time since I have seen brass case AR plinking ammo for less than 45 cents a round.

9mm is getting pretty easy to find. GM always has it now, though not the best prices of course. I've seen it regularly at FF in Brooklyn Park. Last I was there I think it was down to just Wolf Poly (yuck) but a few weeks ago there was Remington, Blazer and Blazer Brass.

Was at both cabellas woodburry and the EP gander mtn today. Cabellas was well stocked with rifle powder and all sizes of primers, but no pistol powder or .22 that I saw. Gander surprised me by having a massive stock of .22 shorts, both cci and golden bullets. The cci shorts were $11.xx/100 the gb shorts were $22.xx/500. At least 50 boxes of cci and 25 boxes of the GBs were on the shelf when I left.

Ah. No .22lr to be found in San Fran. Or the Oakland or Fremont areas. Alameda county like the rest of the country :(. Traveled there this last week a business trip the boss pulled out of her hat on me at 10am last Wednesday. Boarded the plane at 8pm that night. Toured SF including a "fire boat" ride around Alcatraz & Golden Gate Bridge. Highly recommend vacation there. Too cool. Arrived at Annie's Guns in time to see an elderly gent and his lovely little wife picking a S&W .500 hand cannon. Said it was for her. Lol

All the .22 found today at the Anoka Ice Arena gun show. A Crododile Productions Show. Fella there had all of Walmarts supply. Marked up 2x's retail and more. 500 count Winchester M22 for $62, is $52 at Walmart for "1000" rounds, if you get it before him. $15 dollars for the mini mags are $8 retail. Then he was complaining the only supplies he can find is from those looking to sell their stock piles. And, he had the audacity to complain about GM's gouger pricing. Didn't look as tho any one was buying, there were no holes in his neat little stacks. Ha.

I do not know if this ammunition is worth a darn or not, but 2500 rounds of .22LR for $108.99 seems like a deal. As does 5000 rounds for $210.99
