Trigger Shim Kit

Postby birdhead on Sun Feb 19, 2012 8:37 am

Has anybody ever tried to put trigger shim kits on there gp100, sp101 rugers, if so and how happy are those who put them on?. And would anyone be willing to help me put them on?. I do not have or have I ordered them yet, just testing the waters (so to speak) on any info. :?: Thanks

Ooh, I've been considering the same thing. I bookmarked this, maybe you've seen it: Ruger SP-101 Trigger Job Guide

I have not seen that one before good detail, however I was looking @ this one http://www.triggershims.com/ruger_double_action.html . And was wondering about this. The warnings are a bit concerning, but the resulits look good, do not want to lose the warranties from ruger. I know with work by the way of shooting and dry firing trigger will smooth out but, the older I get the trigger finger needs all the rest I can give it. Just wondering.
