7.62x51 ammo links

Just received a shipment of linked Portuguese 7.62x51 ammo. I unlinked the first 150 rounds and was wondering if they have any inherent value. I'll never have the money or wherewithal to own a class 3 weapon, and I don't want to just thrown them out. Any suggestions?

I tossed mine into the metal can for recycle. If anyone comes back with a use for them I can dig them out if they are wanted. I found the linked ammo I got to be pretty inaccurate, later I was told MG ammo was designed for dispersal and that was the reason for my zeroing problems and not me; bless the soul of the person who gave me that excuse.

I'd keep them just for keeping them. But I like having stuff like that around the house.
