Ruger Mark III 22/45 Magazine Disconnect Bushing

This is more or less just an FYI post for anyone looking for the bushing from Sam. If anyone posts on this site looking for it, point them to this thread please.

Ruger Mark III 22/45 has an annoying design flaw called a "Magazine Disconnect", which iwhere the magazine only partly drops out when ejected and it doesn't insert (or stay in) very well when inserted into the gun. The solution for both problems is to remove the magazine disconnect. Below is a photo of the bushing, a vide on how to do it, and a link where to get it at.

I'm assuming this helps with the problem of the mags not locking up in the gun? As in they dont want to seat correctly or stay in while firing?

Sorry if you already answered this, just wanted to be doubly sure.

It helps with the mag's seating and staying in, yes...as well as making it so the magazine drops freely when ejected vs. just popping out a little bit and then needing to be manually pulled out of the slot.
