...and now for a completely serious discussion on underwear

Postby photogpat on Tue Feb 26, 2013 7:02 am

So, after carrying for ~16hrs/day at the House and Senate hearings - I noticed something...I was wearing the wrong underwear (*snip* insert joke here */snip*).

I'm normally a boxers kind of guy - but the pleated cloth waistband combined with the elastic and IWB holster was chaffing the heck out of my right hip. I used to wear a photographer's waist pack with lenses and a variety of gear around my waist, and I used to have the same problem at long weddings. I switched to a flat waistband boxer brief (what I now jokingly refer to as my "Tactical Underwear")...and problem resolved itself.

Just a thought as you choose undergarments. Carry on!

(this thread will get moved to The Basement...just watch...)

Hanes boxer/briefs here. Comfortable and good support for your man parts. Commando style doesn't work for me.

I've noticed that the sequins on my leopard print thongs have been an issue also.

I've converted to boxer briefs for the most part...but I did find the topic interesting. Not something I would have considered, but I do simply hate chafing
