Hey, i just picked up an alien gear holster, my dad really likes it but isnt really on board with the iwb. i am wondering what are some suggestions for an owb for the s&w m&p 9 pro? the one thing he really liked was the price tag and im sure its gonna be hard to find a good holster around that price range

I have a BladeTech for my training belt and that's an excellent holster, although not particularly discreet. My preference for every day use is a Raven Concealment, but I virtually never carry my M&P 9L. For those that don't want to spend the $80 or wait the 6 weeks, there are a variety of kydex Raven knockoffs.

I run a comptac for idpa and like it a lot. It's just the basic belt holster nothing fancy.

thanks, looks like a few pretty good options, he doesnt really plan on carrying it much, maybe a few times in the winter. mostly just wants a holster so he has the option

I like the blackhawk serpa holsters, though I guess some have issues with releasing the pressure of their trigger finger when removing the weapon from the holster.
