Found an old rifle sight, use it on an AR-15 ?

I've never had to deal with this issue before so hoping it's something simple and you all can have your way with razzing me about it.





I am guessing it's for any railed rifle but would like to know as I don't have the matching front sight.

I have been wanting a good set of iron / flip up set for my AR-15 but not sure if any front sight will work ?

Yes, that sight is for M16/AR15's. Military issue but I can't quite remember the name offhand.

Great, thanks for the info, will clean it up and find a front sight and get'er done.
