Silhouette Targets

Postby BigDog58 on Fri Mar 17, 2017 12:16 pm

Who carries paper silhouette targets in the Twin Cities? I'm wanting to take the wife shooting this weekend and want her to practice with her EDC weapon.

Thanks

Your best bet for price is LE targets.

Most ranges will have some variety of silhouette targets. They will be about 5x the price of LE Targets,

Ordered some from Cabelas last night online. Selected ship to store for pick up. Notice said 5 to 9 days. Got an e-mail today that my order was ready. Picked them up today.

There is a way to make a silhouette target out of paper grocery bags by cutting them a certain way. I don't remember exactly how to do it, but I am sure you could Google it.

Thanks all. If LE Targets is open today (Saturday) I'll go get a few. Otherwise, it shows they have some at Cabelas (but more expensive). I want my wife to practice shooting a silhouette, rather than just a bullseye target. I'm going to make sure to get a "skinny" target, just to make sure she doesn't get any idea's

Sportsmans Guide has some, but not nearly the selection that LE Targets has.

From what I could find, they own both company's. They have separate websites though.

I have access to a printer that prints to 11x17. You can find numerous targets online ready to print.

The company I used to work for had a 12 color plotter that printed from a roll. That was very nice. I could print whatever target I wanted to whatever size. I also designed a few in the CAD system. Those were great for the 1" grid and for shooting at the 200 meter range at OGC.
