I have a hidden hybrid holster for my Springfield XDS9. It's a iwb kydex shield with a leather back. When I walk it sounds like I'm wearing leather pants. It's super comfy, but not very stealth like. Any suggestions to. Make it more quiet?
I'll have to use my kydex holster more I guess.

Wear the holster more often. The noise is much more noticeable to you than those around you- if they even notice it it will be passed off as new shoes or maybe a belt. New leather will make noise until it breaks in and that won't happen if it is not worn. You may hasten the breaking in process by oiling the leather but that can stain your clothing too.

What's making noise; leather moving against kydex?...pistol moving in the kydex?...lose screws?

Could try some talc or baby powder, or a leather lotion. If it's gun to holster contact try Draw EZ.

Or they will just assume you are passing gas.

The baby powder thing has worked for me.

The holster isn't in regular carry rotation. Since I don't have the laser mounted on my Springfield I'll just carry it in my kydex holster.
With a rise in crime in my area I've been carrying 24/7...
