Offset to Left scope mount

Subject: FS: ADM Recon 2" offset 30mm rings - NIB

Box is opened, that's it.

$150 in Fridley, or will bring to 1st Wed lunch

I actually need an offset scope mount which is offset 2.187" to left of original centerline of Picatinny rail. This is for a shooter who is now blind in right eye and has been right-handed all his life.

I've attempted to machine one but was not happy with how it turned out - maybe next time.

Anybody seen this type of offset mount ?????

Jim - sorry for bastardizing your sale, but double exposure might help.

No worries.

What's the goal of the side-slung mount? QD, uber rigid? One piece or individual rings? Just a side-slung platform for other rings?

Have a lever action with an offset scope, I don't like it.

There we go! At least that was useful. I was thinking more along the lines of 2 scopes on my AR. You know 2 is one and one is none so...

Doug, checkout this linked article, it might help. http://bulletin.accurateshooter.com/2015/03/offset-scope-mount-helps-shooter-with-vision-problem/

I also have some pictures of Scope Tracking Adapters (used for side by side scope checking) that might be adaptive to your needs.

We have a total blind (as in no eyes) member at our Gun Club, who when he was younger had something like so his father could take him prairie dog hunting. His father would aim for him and he could pull the trigger.

FF has expanded their gun department big time lately. It's like the Baxter range showroom moved into the sporting goods department.

I'm assuming this it the Brainerd/Baxter store? I haven't seen a noticeable change at the Lakeville location.

Oakdale and Brooklyn Center.

Maybe they're pilots? Or maybe they just haven't gotten there yet?
