SIG Sauer Romeo5 red dot

Postby Drizzle on Sun Nov 17, 2019 12:02 pm

Ordered one of these for my M&P15 to replace my enormous Eotech 555. Anyone have experience with one, good or bad? Reviews seemed very satisfied, with the caveat that one in a hundred didn't work at all and had to be returned for replacement.

Since I'm not kicking doors with CAG or DEVGRU, I thought the SIG would be a good option for the price.

(chuckle-this is my post #556...)

I have 3 or 4 of them as well as a couple of the Vortex versions. I vastly prefer the Sig versions, the auto turn off and motion activated turn on is awesome.

Have 4 of them and have ran them on AR's and AK's plus a CEMTE and a CZ EVO.
Have had zero issues and are bright enough for winter .
Used one on my AK hunting hogs in Georgia and high heat and humidity plus swamps had zero effect on the 2 Sig Romeo sights we were using .
Good optics and a good price .
