G26 Fobus kydex OWD paddle

I noticed that when I holster, the slide pushes back out of battery. Not much, maybe an either of an inch. Trying to decide if I should be concerned. As I draw, the slide comes forward or I can push it forward to put all the way forward. Any opinions on if this should be a concern?
Adjusting retention doesn't seem to make a difference as the friction is forward in the area around the slide.

Fobus is not something you should be depending on.

Suggestions for a replacement on the more budget friendly side?
Needs to be easy on and off and reasonably comfortable. I like paddles for that reason.
I know I can spend $100+ on a custom holster. Would like to be in the $30-$40 range if possible.
Also struggling with an iwb option also, referencing another thread minotaur iwb......

It is Kydex.
Apply a heat gun in the area that is pushing the slide back. If needed, apply some aluminum foil around the slide in the area that is tight before applying the heat.
