IWB holsters. I never guessed how comfotable they are.

Postby John S. on Fri Feb 20, 2009 6:35 am

The idea to me sounded uncomfortable as hell. So anyway I got the De Salles' Inner Piece IWB holster the other day. I barely notice I'm wearing it. My OWB holsters are always getting caught on stuff, and hitting the back of the car seat etc. Man this thing is nice.

My only complaint is the end of the holster/barrel kind of digs into my hip a bit when it starts to ride a bit low. ;)

yeah, I had a cheap IWB holster for my 1911.. wasn't too fun.. Then I got a good holster from Srigs. There's times I forget I have the gun on.

My srigs holster is so comfortable I wear it all the time. Heck, I've nearly worn it out, its been repaired once already! My OWB I wear out shooting, but not so much for daily because of the reason you mentioned. The corners in my house have little nicks at waist height where my gun bonks them when I wear the OWB.

To clarify, I was clumsy sitting and the clip caught on the arm of a chair and bent it, srigs sewed a snap belt loop on, and the loop is starting to wear at the contact point... The part that holds the gun is obviously rock solid. A classic I dee ten tee error is all.

My personal favorite is a Brommeland MaxCon V, too bad they are almost impossible to get.

This particular one has two straps about an inch apart, center of holster.. I can see buying one with the snap straps on both sides of the gun. Another job for SGH I suppose! ;)

Received and I love it, anyone want an IWB LH for Glock 19? The brown one pictured is FS! ;)

I got one from Vlad. It so comfortable I forget I am wearing it. It conceals so nicely that I carry more often.
