I stopped by Dick's on my way to work to take advantage of the "1/2 off second box" deal. Imagine my surprise when I found out that the "regular price" for UMC scanned in at $12.99!!!! Even with 1/2 off on the second box, it averages out to just under $10.00 per box. No thanks! Talk about "jumbling the numbers"!

They had some UMC in stock? I stopped by Wednesday afternoon to get a few cases and they said that both of the stores in the area were sold out until next week. The sales person said that a guy came in earlier and bought their last 13 cases. They did give me a raincheck for the 6.98 price though. Now, not to spend the money...

Did they give you grief because it was printed from the net? Or did they give you a hard time because they didn't want to give you an extra $10 off your purchase when you already had the 50% coupon? I could see them scoffing at using more than one coupon at a time (although they shouldn't even be concerned with that), but that $10 coupon is good tender and no different than every single one they printed in every Minn. fish regs book this past year. Frustrating when we take them up on the teasers they put out to get us to come in the door but then they have the nerve to question us about it.

I was only using that, it was back in august on the one in minnetonka. I think it was a manager that was sitting there and saw it, it was printed black and white.

I was at the Burnsville store today to pick up 6 boxes of .40S&W Remington with the buy 1, get 1 50% off coupon. The boxes were stickered at $14.99 but rang up at $18.99!! Last time I bought they were stickered at $14.99 but rang up at $12.99.

They quickly adjusted the price when I pointed out the sticker price. If they're $18,99 next time, I'll have to either start reloading or shoot slower.

I'm wondering if the "regular price" will drop once the "1/2 off the second box" promotion is over.

That wasn't an issue the last time they had this promo. In fact I got the sale price on top of the coupon.

Woodbury still had about 6 -7 cases of 9mm when I left :D
$64 something a case with the $10 coupon from the fishing regs, Yep I remembered the coupon 4 times this trip. By the fourth trip thru the check out with my $10 coupons I got the feeling they where starting to give me the  eye so I left and went home.
Now if I could just get them to give half off the sale price of the second case and use the $10 coupon I would buy what they had left

NOTE: the dick's coupon is ringing up as:

Buy 1 at full retail (not the sale price marked on the shelf)
Get 1 at 50% of full retail.
That works out this way for .45UMC:
$19.99 for first box, $9.99 for second = $30 for both = $15.00 ea ... That is NOT a deal! The "sale" price on the shelf is $14.98 for case lots or $15.98 ea box.

You'd be MUCH better off using several "Coach's coupon"s for $10 off a $25 purchase = 40% savings.

I have stopped at the Mtka. store 3 times in the last 2 weeks only to be told that they are out of 9mm and waiting for their truck to come in with a fresh delivery. I have heard that the M.G. store is in the same boat.
