After my wife went to work this morning, I went into the basement and assembled one of the 5 stripped lowers, that I have in the safe. This one was a DPMS and it got a RRA two stage trigger, Green ergo grip, and a magpul trigger guard. I don't have the stock yet, but I'm thinking a green magpul PRS. 8-)

I have been looking at parts all day because of this thread.

Me too :) Jerry45 seems to have the best price on the lowers. Maybe if a couple other people are interested we could have a car-pool to Alexandria some day....

I'd be up for a carpool, around the first week in May.

Sounds like Gunstop only has Bushmaster lowers for $179.00.

Go see Randy at Territorial for a custom lower with customized logos.....

The upside to building up a lower is that you do get to put the stock on you want vs having parts left over, but parts left over leads to another build. One always have to factor in that we have probably seen the last of the DPMS activities at MWCA shows. So, the good deals are probably going to few and far between. A person should look at Midway for DPMS complete uppers...they have had some really good priced uppers in calibers like 6.8, 223. and 204. Just remember that the better deal might be stocking up on ammo vs buying gun you can not shoot do to lack of ammo. Should another ban come.....there was the deal that the lower had to have been a assembled into a whole gun to be considered grandfathered.......

Better yet go taek a tactical carbine class so you know how to use that M4orgery.....

I'm trying to cut/paste it here, but if it doesn't work here, it's at the end of my post above. http://www.GRTactical.com

By the way, I don't see information about this package on G&R's site. To see the original post on M&P forum, you need to be a member on that forum. Log in over there and then go to "Sponsors" and G&R Tactical's topic board. About four posts down, Grant posted a topic entitled "Budget AR for $659." (I can't post a link to the actual post here because to do so would require me to provide access here to my secure account over there. If you can't find it, pm me and I'll help.)

I saw the G&R link. Yep, nothing on their site about it.

I'm looking for the M&P link with the post and pictures.
