Instructors looking for an inexpensive projector....

Today only, as woot deals usually are. Doesn't look like the highest quality projector out there, but for people looking for a primary or backup projector for classes, it might fit the bill. The only thing I can see being an issue is that the only input seems to be for AV cables, not HDMI or VGA but there are adapters for that. Overall not bad for $30.

Just a heads up.

Must have missed it. It is showing a Kodak camera now. Dang. Oh well. would have been good in my new mancave.
Wrap that around your overly muscled left wing and row your dinghy in counterclockwise circles as a result.

The link is to a page that rotates through 4 or 5 deals. Here is a direct link to the projector:

Just an FYI. Projectors should be looked at for 2 things, how much resolution they can show and how bright the light bulb.

The projectors maximum range is 14 feet in dark conditions, so light outyput is 60 watts or 800 lumens (max)...and it's resolution is 960 x 240.

The smallest screen the standard computer can show is 640 x 480 (XP emergency mode only), and the usual size is 1024 x 768 or more now (not to brag but I am running 1920 x 1000 right now).

The minimum resolution for a standard DVD / VHS player is 852x576, and blueray is at 1920 x 1080 (thus 1080p).

Make an informed buy.

It's $30... if it can take an input and throw a picture on the wall it's a good buy for less than the cost of a day rental of a typical conference room projector.
