I hope the "Gougers" CHOKE ON THEM! They will Reap what they Sow

Is anyone who sold their house in 2005-2007 also a gouger for taking advantage of the housing bubble and the prices people were willing to pay at that time?

How so? People flipping houses purchased homes when the market was cheap and then took advantage of the artificial run up in price caused by easy money and unsustainable appreciation in value to flip them and make money all while contributing to the overall supply shortage and high prices which made it more expensive for first time home buyers, etc... How is that different than people either selling parts of their collection at a huge profit because of a PREDICTABLE run up in pricing around an election... or taking advantage of easy access to cheap product they can quickly flip for 3-4x their investment?

I may go out of my way to tweak the Armslist geeks when I'm pissed about getting skunked at Fleet Farm like everyone else, but this is purely an emotional/spite response, I have no fundamental issue with people making a buck particularly if they made a good call and read the market right.... Capitalism baby.

It's called supply and demand, if you don't want to pay that price than stop b*tching and move on and put your name on a list to wait. The reverse is people buying rifles and sitting on them and then having to dump them at or less than what they paid. The markets will take care of themselves...and doom on you and anyone else for not planning ahead before the FRENZY, people should stop worrying about what other people do and be more responsible to "plan" ahead for times such as this.

Picked up (2) 100 round value packs of 45 Auto at Gander Mountain in Forest Lake today for $62/ea. of Winchester 45 Auto 230gr. FMJ (white boxes), which I thought was a decent price. They had plenty of Big Game .308, 30-06, etc. there also...

Gander is guilty of gouging too. I picked up 3 boxesof .45 wwb for $40/ea at walmart yesterday leaving about 9 boxes behind.

Lakeville FF had very little. They had Rem UMC .40 100pks behing the counter and that was about all thats worth mentioning.

I completely agree. You CANNOT get "gouged" buying something that is not a necessity, you can overpay but everyone's "overpay" is different. Gouging is selling generators for $6000 after a hurricane...probably could successfully argue that isn't gouging either. I don't like where prices are now and it causes me to shoot less, but I am not FORCED to buy anything. Reap what they sow?? For selling someone something they did not need at all for what the current market price is??

I said it was "decent", not a great deal, much better than paying $1/round anywhere else, so in that context yeah it's a decent deal. I just want to keep stocking up to replenish and have enough supply on hand...oh yeah your right, it's just cheap plinking ammo, lmao.

First time in a Scheels, and I'm impressed.. Very nice store.

FF Lakeville had a couple of AKs and some magazines behind the counter. Plus both 7.62 and 5.45 ammo cans.

No 9mm or 45ACP of any kind though :(
Did you just buy that beautiful firearm, or are you trying to sell that piece of crap?
