Went in at lunch............spoke with the manager......out of stock

Last week it was not online only available at the retail store but as soon as it went online it was sold out very quickly hence no stock today. They did have several cases broken out and for sale as individual boxes....didn't check price

This was was a very odd situation.

Plus you get guys trying to link the retail price to beat the gougers. But I know it's still hard for folks to get down there. I gave (sold) my first one at cost to my neighbor, who I knew couldn't get over there.

Buddy said this morning they all of a sudden had a bunch of WPA boxes on the shelf, and he saw a guy taking them from open tins putting them on the shelf....looks like they found a way to make more $$ off of them. I bet the boxes say "not for individual sale"

Also possible they were seeing 100+ cases a day flying off the shelves and decided to govern down the speed it was going out the door due to uncertainty of resupply. While only getting 2 boxes at a time sucks for somebody trying to stock up it will at least make something versus a bare shelf available to more people.

I would not be surprised to see others doing this with bricks of 50 count boxes of 22 LR.. break them up to sell individually, again, 2-3 boxes at a time being available to more people so they can at least find something on the shelves occasionally might at least more people over until the craziness ends. Less incentive to reselling one box at a time in the secondary market as well.

That's what FF was doing last week. Breaking all the bricks down and selling them by at one point 2 box max.
