They REMOVED the quantity from my order in their system. When I ordered it was "ship 2, 0 backorder", then on Tuesday it went to "Ship 0, 2 backorder", then on Wednesday it went to "ship 0, 0 backorder."

I can show you my order confirmation email if anyone needs to see it.

I don't doubt you. It just seems like odd behavior from what Magpul calls one of their top business partners. Can you cancel the whole deal and reorder from Brownells?

$12.50/ea windowed Pmags was never an option from brownells.

DSG says they're going to do the right thing on their facebook inquisition I made on the issue, but that's yet to be seen as there's no change in my order status.

Hey guys. I'm the owner of West Fork Armory LLC. I ran across this thread while doing a Google analytics search for visits to our website. For people who have ordered or plan on ordering pmags from us here is how we plan to fill orders.

We will sell them at regular prices however we do not allow you to cancel an order because you already bought your mags from another website and they came in first. All cancellations will have a 15% fee which kind of seems harsh, but if your in our shoes and throw $50,000.00 towards getting pmags for our customers, we don't want to get stuck with extra products and overstock. We are also not charging customers credit cards until we have the items about to ship out, most other companies will take your money first and deal with a refund late. I'd rather not deal with a refund at all.

We have orders in with 3 major Magpul distributors, so that will keep a constant supply of Magpul products arriving as soon as they are available.

All orders are first come first serve, no limit on mags. Currently we are getting a 100 to 300 pmags per week. If you do place an order for pmags, your better off ordering black mags as all other colors may be delayed in arrival.

If we only start receiving Gen 3 mags, we will offer those for the normal price difference between the gen 2 and gen 3 mags. If for some reason our next order of pmags is more expensive than orginally put forth by Magpul, we will not sale the mags if we will lose money. It's quite simple for that matter. If the price rises slightly, we will still honor the prices we had on the website. If the mags arrive and for some reason they are $20-$40 for us to buy, we will not buy them for resale. So basically we will never increase pricing on mags unless the manufacturer raises their cost for us.

How we can get our pmags quick? Well we are a "key" dealer with various distributors for Magpul. This basically means that we purchase so many Magpul products every year that it gives us priority over many other vendors. We also watch the online distributors websites for in stock status nearly 24/7, even on New Years Eve we are still working to get products in stock and shipped.

If any of you have any questions you can email us at Sales@westforkarmory.com

Had my "pre-order" all set for a handful of PMags @ West Fork Armory. (Owners note above) Got to the payment section where you enter credit card data. Maybe its my Firefox or some weird anomaly (I'm no IT expert) but the site is not securely encrypted. Bummer. The search for a remotely reasonable price continues.

UPDATE...

Got an email today from Brownell's Order Desk - $125 for 10 Black Windowless P-Mags just shipped. The order was placed on 12/24/2012 and the $125 for 10 mags + free shipping deal was honored. If you placed an order, it may be coming soon.

Of note: I ordered the 10x 20rd P-Mags in the same order and that part was dropped. I think Magpul has been pumping out only 30-round mags, but the explanation was as follows:

100-009-826 20RD PMAG BLACK 10 PACK 1
***NOTE*** DEAR CUSTOMER, STOCK ITEM 100-009-826
***NOTE*** WAS CANCELLED FOR THE FOLLOWING REASON
***NOTE*** SUPPLIER HAS DISC THIS SKU-NEW SKU IS
***NOTE*** 100-011-413. WILL NEED TO PLACE NEW
***NOTE*** ORDER IF YOU WANT THIS PRODUCT-THANKS
***NOTE*** WE'RE SORRY FOR ANY INCONVENIENCE THIS
***NOTE*** MAY CAUSE YOU AND/OR YOUR CUSTOMER.

SKU 100-011-413 is, of course, now sold out with no backorder.

Magpul has been making 20rd mags. I've had two orders for them come in that were placed in Jan and Feb from DSG.

Interesting. Guess it was Brownell's being a dick then.

Magpul did put the full production capacity into 30rd mags and stopped doing colors just to pump out as many as they could in the height of the panic. Brownells was going off that, and not being able to guarantee they'd ever be able to fill the backorders.

Now that things are settling, you might be able to get them to honor the old offer. I'd at least try emailing them about it.
