Fleet Farm Inventory Report

If you're not at the store when the stock in question gets unloaded and pushed to shelves at Wal-mart (most of the 'semi-pro' resellers know the timing and are lined up at 7-7:30 AM when stuff is pushed to the floor) or know how to get your allocation peeled off the shipment before it hits the shelves at Fleet Farm you are out of luck.

The website in question is using data provided by the Wal-Mart mobile web app and is generally accurate for the day a product is on the truck from a DC to a store, however I seem to recall it's slow at indicating when product has sold-out which is almost always the case the minute it moves out of the stockroom and into the hands of the folks waiting in line to grab their daily ammo ration.

Stopped by the Eagan Wal-Mart today on my way home from work and the EE I spoke with told me the system said they had the Federal .22LR in stock but they did not. He said this morning someone sold the 10-pk as singles by accident. So...someone got 10-pks of .22LR for 2.17ea.

I was at the FF in Blaine today. The guy behind the counter told me they are going to start selling reloading supplies. He said they have a pallet of stuff in back waiting to be put out. He said end of June-ish.

As far as I can find out via the Internet, FF is not franchise; so I would assume that all of their stores with a shooting department would. Though, you know what they say when you assume...

Lakeville FF has already started stocking reloading supplies. Friday they had 9 Hornady dies (.308 and I think .375) on the black powder shelf, no shelf labels or prices yet so they may have mistakenly put them out early. I also saw cans of Hornady One Shot lube/cleaner at Chaska on Saturday. Having an LnL it's nice to see some local Hornady supplies, Cabela's is a haul from the SW 'burbs.

Yeah I saw the loaded carts too but after seeing boxes of 5.56 for 7.99 last weekend, I can't bring myself to keep paying .50 a shot anymore.

My friend was there Thursday afternoon when they pushed the cart out. There was a case of Thunder bolt .22lr on it, a guy opened it and started grabbing bricks so my friend grabbed one brick too. The guys friend standing behind him bitched at his friend for letting my friend get just one brick!!! The store associate was there telling everyone that only one bulk box per person, the two guys raiding the ammo just laughed and said yea right then kept grabbing bulk boxes. My friend followed them around the store a little while they called a bunch of people to come to the store and help go through the check out with all their ammo.

Yesterday they had a bunch of .45acp win white box of 100 on the shelves, also had a ton of .40. This was at the FF in BP.
