Just posting this. Haven't really taken a look. Anyone see any deals? I quickly browsed through it and there seems to be a few firearms in here.

Got it in the mail yesterday, and did a quick look through it. The only things that really caught my eye were the Simmons spotting scope, the camo hunting shirt and pants, and the wool socks on the Friday doorbusters.

Yeah I was kinda liking that price on the spotting scope. I wonder how many they will have in stock?

I was perusin' it ... and this ... http://www.cabelas.com/product/Hornady-Lock-n-Load-Classic8482-Reloading-Kit/740228.uts ... caught my eye.

Looks like it's already available fer the $250 price as on the black friday, ad. Looks like ya git 500 free bullets, with it, too.

By my count, ya got $250, -$70 (powder-measure), -$25 (scale), -$20 (manual), -$17 (chamfer tool), -$18 (lube, block, 'n primer-tray) leaves 'bout $100 fer a really nice press.

And, if ya figure $15/100 fer XTP's, take 'nother $75 off ... and the press is like $25. Image

You might want to check out the prices from Midway on the Lead Sled too.

Looks like the offer's fer only 100 bullets. Still a good deal if'n yer lookin' to git yer feet wet with reloadin'.

If you buy Hornady dies you can get another 100 bullets for free making them relatively cheap too. I've upgraded many of my Lee dies with Hornady new Dimension dies and, between the free bullets and the sale of the old dies, it cost me only a couple dollars.

The items that got my attention were the game camera and the S&W 22A. I had one of these pistols and it was not a bad gun. It is similar enough to some of my larger pistols that it can double as an inexpensive trainer as well as decent enough to carry for pests when walking the dogs. The upland pants are also of interest providing they are Dry-Plus, Gore-Tex or similar material.

This didn't sound right. ... so I checked on Hornady's site. ... says 500 bullets fer the "classic kit" (also fer the LNL-AP) ... 'til 12/31/10.

Also, I don't know that ya can redeem multiple free bullet deals in the same year. ... so maybe wait 'til the 500 one clears 'fore ya try fer the 100's.

I think you are right, ahrens. The sale flyer says 500 bullets. The Cabella's link is what they currently have on their website, not the sale price. It seems to me, if you buy now at the higher price you get 100 bullets. If you buy on Black Friday you get the sale price plus 500 bullets.

Or am I missing something?? :hmm:

Ya. ... Cabela's don't dictate 100 'er 500. ... jest the purchase price. It's 500 bullets today, black friday. ... 'til new year's.

Seems like the Herters 7.62x39 is a decent price. Wonder if you can shoot this stuff in Burnsville range?
