Fleet Farm Blazer 380 ammo - $11.99/50

I thought I'd pass along a little info. I'm new to the 380 game, and have been shocked to see the prices as high as they were. I ran across Blazer 95gr. Aluminum Case at Fleet Farm for $11.99/50. Seemed like a good deal so I got 10 boxes. I'm thinking I did OK, but willing to be whipped if it was a dumb buy. I'm also crossing my fingers that my Thunder is going to eat them without protest. We'll see.

Anyway, I figured it may help out the 380 guys if it was a wise buy.

Just an fyi that you can't shoot that at Bills. They recently started allowing steel cased ammo, but still no aluminum.

Ammoman's cheapest is 139/500 (or 13.90/50) so it seems you did OK. I've always been surprised how expensive 380 is. Must be that they don't sell that much of it.

This guy is local: http://www.a1ammo.com/products/125.cfm

$12.79 for magtech.

Fast,
I noticed he had some pretty good pricing on a few other calibers I'm currently bulking up on.

You say he is local, does he have a retail outlet or is it all mail order?

Could I save the shipping and pick it up myself?

Are there any more of the "local" guys I should be checking out. I notice great pricing from some of these online guys, but the shipping kills you. Its almost as cheap to buy it locally when you figure the shipping cost in on some of these "deals".

Thanks for any help.

I spoke with him at the gun show and I believe he gives 5% discount volume and another 5% if you pick it up. Call him at 763-780-9904.
