Just FYI - it's polymer.

Be interested to hear more feedback on these. I have heard the ATIs are garbage.

Considering they didn't sell quickly at $35 3 months ago. I'd be a bit cautious as well.

Poly lowers that fail, do so at the extension threads: http://www.300blktalk.com/forum/viewtop ... 28&t=82943

NFA's have a good rep, others are sketchy.

Atomic Tactical still has a display full of the A2 one piece units for $200: http://www.atomictactical.com/product-p/gwacs-lower.htm

My issue with the Gwacs is they don't accept aftermarket grips. Even so, it's kinda tempting for a truck gun.

I just purchased a complete lower from GWACS. Popped right together. The thing I noticed is the stock is mid-length. Not really long, but shorter than most others of the same style.

BTW, why not order these factory direct? GWACS has most inventory all the time ready to ship from their online store.

Because they can be bought in Bloomington and you're supporting small local businesses. They will also most likely be cheaper to buy from Atomic as well. (after you figure in shipping and transfer fee from ordering online) :D

Factory direct = FFL transfer fee and $11 shipping. Atomic Tactical = state sales tax. Atomic is $10-15 cheaper once you add transfer fee, and they have them on hand.

See that's why I ask.

Not only that, that fact they're 8 blocks from my work and I didn't even know they were there.

Very Nice.

They're pretty rough looking. I've had a few come through...

Personally, I wouldn't use one on a build if someone gave me one for free. YMMV
