Primer powder bullet buying trip May 17-22...update

Postby SIGP240 on Thu May 09, 2013 1:50 pm

......MISSION ACCOMPLISHED...I will contact you when I am back in town... Thank you! I am doing a roadtrip on the above dates. I visit a few of the popular sport shops that feature reloading components. I am willing to make some purchases along the way. I am finding small primers (1.7 million recently at one location) plus large pistol primers, 2400, Blue Dot, 700-X, 880-X, Varget, BLC-2, H322, H4198, 8208-XBR, Red Dot, H110, 296, V-Max bullets, Rainer, Oregon, 22 ammo, 223 both the Euro and Amer, plus 40 and 9mm ammo. I have a small slush fund of about $3K I can use to float purchases. Many stores limit purchases to singles, deuces or 4x, but the ones that are truly shooter friendly, of course, never have limits. You will all agree if the store sells women's and men's running apparel, energy bars and french spring water, you can only have "ONE PER PERSON"....it's called merchandising. Components are compact, I have a truck, space is never an issue. I do have to pay sales tax, I will be spending about $200 in fuel, plus some time. I will shop for you for a 15% add-on. - Note, $3K is not a big number, components add up fast, I will only be able to buy for just a few people, I cannot guarantee I can find any one item to satisfy your need. Once I am back in town, a pick-up has to be arranged in short order. ( No lame excuses about completing the deal shall be tolerated.) I will need numbers, names, and your word (Scout's Honor) via email. I will modify this ad when appropriate.

What city are you in or travel to often so we know how close you are to us. I might need some bullets for my .38/.357 and .44mag and a couple pounds of Varget powder.
But if your way down in Apple valley or Lakeville it will have to be a weekend before I could get there.

Road trip May 17-22

I could go for $100 worth of .223/556 as long as they're 52 cents/ round or less. So 200 rounds give or take before the premium I'd pay you.

I would be down for spp / SRP. If you are somewhat close to the faribault area, and prices are somewhat normal. I would rather pay someone like this, rather than a GB scalper. I would go for a few thousand of each, if possible. Lets talk.

I may have another opportunity to drive to Omaha for primers again. If anyone is interested, give me a heads up. I did run into Winchester 1000 round bulk packs of 223, but they were at the new price: $579.99. A wee bit spendy. Especially since the last two cabelas I have been in had hundreds of 20 boxes of 223.scheels even has bulk packs of heavy bullet weight 223 too.

What price did small pistol primers go for? I could use some next month after the third if you came near SW MN on the way back.
