Postby VMAX97 on Thu May 22, 2014 8:09 pm

Does anyone want to go in on buying primers and splitting the shipping and hazmat fees?

Wideners has Sellier & Bellot on sale for $21.50 / 1000 ($107.50 / case). Hazmat is 28

e-mail me at duluth82 @ Hotmail .com if you are interested. Not sure how long the sale is.

I'd be interested in 5K but not sure if I want that brand.
I'll wait until I've heard more about their quality.

I have shot over 1,000 rounds of SB 9mm in the past few months and not a single hiccup. This was commercial ammo so not sure how it compares to primers only. This was in a Glock 34 if it makes a difference.

No experience with S&B but I see that Graf's had Magtech for $112. I've been through about 9000 of those, all of them ignited.

Was out of town. I have not tried S&B or Magtech primers before. I am up for just about anything. Looks like Graf & Sons has both on sale $110 for S&B and $112 for Magtech. Flat fee of $8 for insurance and handling and $28.50 for hazmat fee. I just weighed a case of CCI primers from Grafs and it was 4.5 pounds. That means we could get about 11 cases of primers for one hazmat fee (per http://www.grafs.com/retail/terms-of-service#section_35 ) per their 50 pound limit. I would in for 2 cases of small pistol and maybe a case of rifle which would leave 9 more cases to fill the order.

Let me know if anyone is interested.
