Federal 9mm 115 grain - 13 cents a round delivered

the 9mm Federal, 115 grain, FMJ, nice practice ammo, was .135/round delivered to me in case lots. It was a better deal than the local WM for the WWB ammo.

Is that the Federal American Eagle? Is this pretty good as far as practice ammo goes?
I have never owned a 9 before and just bought a M&P and need ammo and this would be $30 a 1000 cheaper then WM WWB, $135 delivered vs Walmart $165 OTD.

Yes...that is the ammo...Federal Am. Eagle...red box...5.99/50 in case lots; $120/1000 . I ordered two cases, with delivery it was $260...or .13/round to my door.

Just for giggles, I called streichers, and that is far below what they could do if you ordered a pallet (20,000 rounds) from them.

looks like both warehouses out of stock now - anybody know if backorder is OK? I really should get a case of a couple different calibers ordered one of these days...

They have fairly decent deals from time to time...you might want to get on their e-mail/notification list.

Just an FYI. Rumor on another board is that Walmart's 100 round Winchester value packs are going up 15% come September 1st. Still cheaper than Gander and Fleet Farm sell them but not by much.

I have mentioned this in the ammo section and others. But.....
You might want to look into Dicks Sporting Goods. Buy case of 10 boxes of 50 (500 rounds) of Remmington UMC 9mm 115 grain FMJ and the price is $6.98 a box. Also get a 2007 fishing regs book and use the $10 off coupon in there to save even more.

This may have ended. But as of Tuesday, I was still able to get it in the Burnsville store. Maybe someone who attends the event at the Richfield store this weekend can confirm?

It ended up to be .1296 cents (before tax) a bullet for the 1000 I purchased. :)

Dicks ammo is on sale most of the time. There has only been a couple of times that I have gone there when it was not, I think they use it as a loss leader for marketing. Make sure you sign up for the Dicks card when you check out, you will build up points that will entitle you discount coupons that you can use for future ammo purchases. I used to buy WWB at Wally but Dicks is a better deal and closer to my home and I think it shoots cleaner than WWB (IMHO,YMMV).
