PTP assistance

Postby wbseverin on Fri Jan 18, 2013 2:40 pm

It's been a long time since I purchased a hand gun and my question is this:
The application has a dealer info section on the first page so do I need to know where I'm going to purchase the handgun from before I submit this form for my permit to purchase? I don't remember from last time.
Thanks

No, just skip it. That is for a one time purchase at a gunshop.

I forget this detail. The Sheriff does background checks for PTC does the police dept do PTP still or has the Sheriff dept taken over PTP as well?

If your city has a police dept. they do the PTP. Some cities only have Sheriff's coverage.
