Gun shop area

I am driving down to Mankato tomorrow for work. It got me thinking I wonder if there any good shops to stop at while down there. I think we should have a dedicated place for people to post about gun shops and ranges in there area. Heck maybe even give a small review of the place. Maybe this has been suggested and shot down I don't know. Figured I would bring it up and see what happens. I'm sure I'm not the only one that only knows about the shops where I live. I would say in the title of the thread we should have to put the town. That would make for really easy searching.

"Shotguns Plus" in St. Peter. If I remember correctly, it is on 169 through town. Never been in the store but he does all the gunshows.

Sounds like a good idea. I am still new to the hobby/sport and would like to enjoy it as much as i can. One way would be able to go and check out the different ranges for ones self. Thanks.

Scheel's is in the Mall and Gander Mountain is across the highway to the east. Neither is anything to write home to Mother about, but they are right there and available.
