plblark wrote:You know, whether his account works or not, making Rucker a mod of "Stupid Stuff" is like Ace and Pinnacle being Mods of "On The Job". It's a direct jab at MnGunTalk through Rucker. It might amuse Joel but it's counter productive and petty.

IT really doesn't matter whether Rucker can do anything with the aility, It's an indirect sly way of saying "See, Rucker is a Mod of Stupid Stuff" which is a not so subtle continuation of the baby talk and day care center BS that serves no point I can discern other than to Cause discord and obfuscation.

i believe you are correct sir, I have advocated against both situations you mention, I too am puzzled by this type of thing but like you Joel will listen to me then decide as he will, you really cannot ask more than that.

Thank you plblark for the vote of confidence in the board to grow. jac714, ttousi and Rucker have taken a lot of unwanted heat tonight and anybody who questions their character do not know them.

Ttousi's Mod status there has NOTHING to do with his mod status here because Ttousi is a stand up respectable guy .

Now wait a minute, this is going a BIT too far. he might be even handed and fair, but stand up and respectable? somebody is hitting the bong tonight.....

I'm sure some are going to call it over the top, kissing up to our new overlords or Hero Worship. Just genuine respect. When I read the list, I thought: Rucker has good taste and I better shape up.

Wow, big changes over the weekend while I was busy shooting

I don't know ttousi (at least I don't think so) but I know both jac714 and westberg personally, and they will do a fantastic job with the forum. Good luck and have some fun with it!

I'd like to wish the new mods good luck from someone who isn't a mod either here or over at TCC. I am a mod over at TaurusArmed.net (yes, its in my sig) and understand a bit of what can happen in public and behind the scenes.

I know that I'm not on the local forums much but being a mod on a somewhat active forum (plus trying to have a semblance of a life in the real world) takes a bit of time.

I know all three of these fine gentleman, and spend a fair amount of time shooting with two of them. For those who don't know one or more of them, I am another guy who can vouch that they are all good guys who can do this job easily and remarkably well...if we cooperate. The future of this forum will rest on our conduct...we don't have to worry about their conduct. They will get it right.
