My very strong suggestion: if you don't like the way this board is being run, go get your own damned forum.

Hell, I bet Rucker would even advertise it here for your benefit.

That, me boyos, is what the 1st amendment is about: the freedom to say what you want on your own dime.

It seems to me, that those that complain to Rucker the longest and loudest, are in the minority. Maybe I'm wrong.

How about all complaints to the owner, get aired publicly, in a back room...............whiney 'kin bastidges....ooohhhh don't mention booze......it might offend one or two. Non PC chat will not be tolerated..........FFS

Air them all...... pretty sure complaints would dry up really quickly, when the rest of the forum reads the pissant transgressions that irked you that day.

I have'nt signed on since last Wednesday and the cack hit the whirling oscilator.

Jac.......you've posted more in 5 days, than the last 6 months, all with a totaliterian slant . IMO you should'nt be a mod.

For those that were'nt in on what some twat defined as baby talk, because he was'nt "IN"
bald white arrogant no deek emperor wannabe of OZ.......BWANE WOOZ.........baby talk this, ignorant git.

I've had posts removed, because someone complained........get a friggin life....it's a forum, not mine........but there you go. Still waiting for explanations as to there removal.........might need to stay away longer

This is also public, you are off base here, we did as Mike asked and took on the role of moderators, met and decided that some clarification of the rules was necessary and as a group agreed on the clarification, ran the clarification past Rucker adn he agreed so at the request of the new mods I posted that clarification. Immediately after this I am attacked by some of the board members, I responded to people lieing about me and accusing me of doing vile things in much the same way you might.

You above post is an attack, against myself and possibly Rucker as well.

The term "Git" is also a personal attack.

As to my posts being totaltalitarian the only ones who were treated that way were done so after they decided they got to attack me or the new rules.

I will tell you my opinion on the above screed, if you think this place is so bad start your own forum no one is stopping you from making up your own anarchy based forum.

You are correct on the number of posts, but when I am attacked I tend to respond. If you don't like it, too bad.

I will also not moderate you as it is not worth the hassle of your baseless and uninformed rhetoric.

upon further reflection I unexcuse myself from moderating the thread

Fair and equal moderating should not take into account friendship. My apologies to the forum members for initially taking that approach.

Brit you are in violation of rule 1 and 4 in this thread as well as in this thread
viewtopic.php?f=36&t=4031&start=15

I have formally warned you via the warn button in both. It puts you in a ban mode for 1 week based on a previous warning you had. However, I will put a 24 hr ban in so that rucker may review.

If this affects our friendship so be it...........

Don't mean to jump into your pool,
friendship is based on mutual trust, consideration, and respect..............
fair and equal moderating is simply the balanced application of rules.........
the two do not mix and you indeed need to keep them separate.....no need to ever apologize.

While I do not like a situation that requires moderator intervention,
even though I have been moderated, banned, and put into time outs rightfully so,
I understand and support the moderators and their actions to this point................

and I do not envy them....

Thank you for your support, ttousi and Jac have taken a lot of flak. I can understand some of the initial statements and concerns, in trying to clarify already existing rules the initial post could of been clearer, but leave it to a teacher, we thought short simple would work.

The part I don't understand is the need to to push the rules to the limit and step over just see if you can do it. I'm not talking about other aspects of one life I'm just referring to this forum. This is a serious question why do it in a like minded community, if it was funny and once in while, but why get nasty and attacking other members. Is the goal to get banned?

Can someone please lock this thread? My original questions and complaints were satisfactorily resolved and were apparently simply mis-communication.

This thread has now been hijacked into a direction that has no bearing on my OP.
