Abbreviations

I was thinking maybe we could have a sticky with gun related abbreviations for us noobee's like:
SOB= small of back
Mag= Magnum
IWE.....etc. etc. alot of the lingo is still Greek to me. Thanx

FYI (For Your Information ;) ) mag often means magazine.

IWE?

IWB = Inside Waistband holster
OWB = Outside Waistband holster
NG = Negligent Discharge
AD = Accidental Discharge (euphemism for ND, but there really isn't such a thing)
FMJ = Full Metal Jacket
JHP = Jacketed Hollow Point
JSP = Jacketed Soft Point
GM = Gander Mountain
PTC = Permit To Carry
XD = Awesome pistol :)

BOHICA ........Bend over here it comes again
SNAFU...........Situation normal all frigged up
TARFU...........Things are really frigged up
FUBAR...........Frigged up beyond all recognition

Shooting

SWC........Semi wad cutter
DAO.........Double action only
SA............Single action
