Posted: Thu Aug 04, 2011 5:36 pmYou can check the last time the person you've tried to send the message to logged in to the forum by checking their member information. If they've logged in and haven't read your message, that would be odd in light of the pop-up that occurs when a message is waiting for them.

Posted: Thu Aug 04, 2011 5:58 pmThey will get a pop-up only assuming that they checked the pop-up box in their user control panel info. If not, they don't get a popup and have to notice that they have a PM. Me--I am so desperate for anyone to notice me that it is the first thing I look at when I log on. But that is probably not everyone....
