OK, one more try...

Edit:

What about this?

Or this? - Is everyone sure they don't like the boarder? I thought it tied it together a bit and was more logo-like.

Seriously guys, if you don't like this one, tell me exactly what it is you don't like about it so that I can modify it :) .

my only feedback on this would be the "G" could be more "G like" :) Well, you asked. I think they all look great. Make sure you can make it a two color print job so the t-shirts don't cost a bazillion dollars to get printed!

I agree with JohninMinnesota. Looks good, but the "G" could use a little more work.

The G is a little over done, other than the .308 instead of .45 ACP it looks good

Yep I agree with the rest. Make the G a little less Hitchcockian, and a .45 instead of .308 and I'll vote for it :D (your hard work and dedication are astounding, but I still think the old one is good)

I really like the G, it's the T that weirds me out. ;)

The "G" just looks wacky to me.

As for the casehead image, I don't think you will ever get an agreement. I'm going suggest a wildcat. Since, at the time I write this, there are 442 members, and about 10% of the members produce most of the posts, I am going to suggest for the casehead stamping:

" MNGT "
".45 WINDBAG"

I'm working on the G, it's hard to get the ratio right between it and the other letters without using the current design.

What should change about the T?

I chose .308 because that's the round I took a picture of (the only .45acp I had was wolf, and no one wants that in their logo  ) -That and my personal belief that .45 is a highly over-rated caliber :P .

If we all agree that no one will call me on the inaccuracy of labeling a .308 as a .45acp, I'll do it.

I'm pretty sure I can supply you with a single .45 casing. I'm not sure you could live with the inaccuracy of relabeling a .308

It's just my 2 cents, and I'm just one wee person who doesn't post much, so don't change it just on my behalf... but, since you asked :) I think it's the crossbar on top having the more Times-Roman look, with the ends curling down. It leaves some sort of odd shaping or space in the middle of the logo that draws my eye to it unnaturally. I liked the T on the original because it blended nice and smoothly into the linear feel of the other blocky lines. If that makes any sense.

Hmmm, I don't know if I *want* to be a windbag ... doesn't sound very cute or ladylike! I could be a mouthy b***h, but then I suspect ya'll might not take so kindly to that either ... I'll stick with sorta quiet for now (but I'm keeping my options open!!)
