If this crap bothers you, too, you can ignore all the freakin' game feeds fairly easily as they enter your feed...

I'm going to say that can't be true, because I know plenty of people not on facebook who don't have any friends.

That said, there is a strong correlation.

Its funny cause I have friends that are scare if they join the gubmint will have more of a way to track them down, same goes with the reason why they refuse to apply for a ptp and ptc, they don't realize fb tells people what you wanna tell people,
