The Contest

First the rationale behind the contest...........

There has been a term used by newer members who may or may not know it's meaning and origin. So to educate and have a bit of competition a contest would seem to be appropriate.

So it will be an essay type contest with the rules as follows:

The contest will be graded on content only. (No grammar/spelling/etc taken into account)
Eligibility: Open to any member with a join date less than 5 yrs (May 1, 2008 or later) No one joining after this posting is eligible either

Rules

Entries must be 500 words or less
Submission deadline is midnight Friday May 31st
Essays submitted must be the work of the submitter with no assistance from long term members (Honor System)
Entries will be submitted via PM to reduce the chance of plagiarism.
Winning entries and possibly all entries will be published at the end of contest.
1st, 2nd, and 3rd place prizes awarded

Essay subject: Define the term "daycare center" as it applies to this forum, where the term originated and why.


Judges
Will be members who have been on the forum for more than 5 years and will choose the best answer based on history. Their decisions will be final.

Shooting supplies/accessories

Prize list to be publish separately. Winners will have the chance to choose their prize.
