Bumping

Postby ttousi on Mon Jul 01, 2013 4:28 pm

effective 7-1-13 you can bump your sales threads after 48 hours

view your post and at the bottom is a blue bar..........has subscribe topic, bookmark topic etc. After 48 hours the "bump" option will appear, once you bump it then it will disappearfor another 48 hours.

Because it is a feature in the current software that was not being taken advantage of. With the new options that are being implemented in the Market Place, the 48 hour bump was a preset and was defaulted to.

I don't know. I have a couple of threads that have been dormant since 7/2/13 and the Bump Thread feature does not appear on them.

Good format here, but not sure if its me or something else that will not allow the bump thread feature to work.

I've run into this problem as well. I bumped once on July 6 and now it won't let me bump again.

Also, why are some people still able to reply to their own threads?

It's probably because the threads were originally posted before July 1.

They were also replied to before the changes........what you see is a posting date on the last reply in the thread which now matches the bump date

It appears the bump may be a one time action........I checked the test post and no option to bump after the 1st bump. I will be looking into it.

As of 8/5/13, I am unable to bump a thread more than once and I am unable to delete a thread so I can kill the dead thread to relist or move it to another venue.

Probably a software issue, but it sure is strange.
