Looking for a machinist

Postby rwatson on Sun Jan 23, 2011 8:20 pm

Hello Everyone!!

I am looking for a local (metro) machinist/gunsmith to help me thread a Remington 700 barrel so i can cut the 26" barrel down to 20" crown and thread it to 5/8-24. If there is anyone that can help or guide me to a local Smith that can do it please let me know.

Thanks
Watson

Jim Kobe in Bloomington 952-884-6031. He can do the work, not sure he would "help you" do the work.
