Want to borrow OSX install disk

Well it looks like I am going to need either a full retail disk or a disk for a macbook4. Any and all help would be appreciated. I tried to install 10.6.3 this evening, both directly from the desktop and as a startup disk, no go either time. This was using a restore disk for a macbook pro. Alittle research shows that I need specific software. I have the Black macbook, intel core2duo, 2gb ram, model
