Ruger SP101

Postby Jbotto on Wed Dec 07, 2011 1:31 am

Hey all! I was wondering if anyone has a Ruger SP101 (and/or a Ruger GP100) that they wouldn't mind letting me put a few rounds through. I'd me more than willing to host an afternoon of shooting to whoever is nice enough to offer at my family's place in NE McLeod County. I'm a college kid, so I'm trying to keep track of my money and don't want to go rent a gun in the cities for an hour or whatever. My main interest is the SP101 but if someone has both to bring so I can do a side by side comparison, that would be great. Not interested in a GP100 by itself though. Feel free to PM me and I get a phone number to you so we can chat about. I'll be home on break between December 18th and January 13th. Thanks to all who can help me out, it's appreciated!

How far is that from Oakdale?

I have gp100's.

My daughter loves them and is very good with them shooting +P+ 38 Special reloads.

Both are 6" heavy's.

1 Blued, 1 Stainless.

Thanks for the offer Oldman. I am more interested in the SP101. I like the GP100 as I've shot one before, but its a bit too big for my intended purpose.

I've been contacted by a member here. Thanks all for looking!
