will anyone let me borrow there 10mm?

Postby kowalzekc on Sun Apr 22, 2012 9:20 pm

I have been thinking about getting a glock 20 but at the risk of sounding like a sally, I want to try firing one first. So I am wondering if someone would be willing to let me test fire there G20 or some other 10mm. I would of course pay for ammo and I would to looking to the lender for advice on which to try. I am only looking to shoot maybe 50 rounds with it.

To put anyone's mind at easy about trusting another with there weapon, I have 9 years in the military with handling weapons plus I am currently a student in an LEO program.

I have a fairly complex schedule so I would need to arrange a time.

Thanks, and I hope I am not out of line asking of such a thing.

Where you at? I have a 10mm just not a G20. I may be able to meet you at a range to shoot.

There's not really anything mystical about the 10mm. Most of today's 10mm factory ammo is about the same power factor as .40 S&W ammo.

Because of the larger mass of the Glock 20 vs. the 22, it shoots surprisingly smoothly.

If you're not a reloader, or plan to become one, don't buy a 10mm.

What he said above Plan on reloading. It's expensive and hard to find. I reload everything I shoot.

I can/will/do reload. I know that the "real" 10mm bits fairly good but I just want to make sure it isn't to the point of hating it.
