Well I suppose I should add my J&S experiences. I used to work a day per week in Lakeville, so I went there once a month or so on my lunch break just for something to do. Paying more attention to the phone or the regulars who are just telling stories was the norm, as were higher than average prices.
I had good experiences with them buying a Seecamp and a JP trigger kit, but more often than not I left without buying anything because I just didn't have the time to wait them out. Once I sat by the register with some magazines in my hand and my wallet in the other while the employees chatted to some customer about a hunt he had just been on, and when I ran out of time and started walking to the door, one of them called out, "Oh, can I help you?" and I just said I ran out of time and kept going.
Another time just a few months back I came in 20 minutes before the store was about to close and the employee there told me they were closing and I could look around for five minutes. Perhaps he had a tee time or something and wanted to close a bit early.
I don't get down that way much anymore, but when I do I don't even really think to stop in. I'd rather go somewhere that has a better selection and has employees that understand that chatting is secondary to working the register.
