Does anybody have the sheepdog pins available for sale? I'm looking for 5 pins.

I sold out all I had, and I'm still looking for another source. I'll keep y'all posted.

If anyone with artistic ability (Pat? Pakrat?) wanted to draw a sheepdog cartoon, I'd look into getting some custom pins made (I'd need a minimum order...)

On a somewhat related note, this is a pic of my buddy's dog. He reminds me of us :D

You didn't like the image you had?

I did a google search for "order custom pins" and it came up with a bunch of internet pin manufacturers. I didn't look at prices.

The pins I had were premade. Although they are not available anywhere, they're still copyrighted, so I need a new design if we're going to do this.

If anyone is interested, the cloisonné creation process involves making little pools for the molten glass to flow into, so basically, we need a line drawing that has discreet areas that can each be flood-filled with one color. Make sense?

I don't have the artistic ability to draw, but if someone does, what are you thinking as to changing it? Maybe a little more agressive looking? Holster with a gun? I know we can get as many suggestions as members and I'm not trying to create more work, but a little outline for the artist. :)

Well, let's see. Here are my thoughts. If yours are different, speak up!

* There are lots of kinds of sheepdogs, but I like English Sheepdogs, because they look gentle, furry and sleepy, but you still don't want to mess with them.

Image

* I like the original pins, but would also be okay with going to a face only, or front view of a sitting dog.

Image

* I don't want any guns or holsters or anything. The idea is to be very low-key. We'll know what we mean.

* I don't want to copy the sheepdog from Road Runner...

Image

...but I wouldn't mind going a little more "cartoony."

After more thought and your points I do agree nothing more then the image of a friendly dog, untill of course the wolf shows up. :) On a quick search I did see some head images that look good, at the time I wasn't thinking along those lines. As you mentioned we will know it, are you thinking coming up with a couple of images and voting or what's you thoughts. I and who ever else is interested can search for images and then narrow it down.

With the way the English (British) have been getting hammered for their intolerance of guns, knives, and self defense, personally I would go for something that would attack, rather than might.......... :P :P :P
