Tulibee tried that at a steel shoot once. ONCE.

At the end of the day there was only one piece of brass in the net.

I put it there out of pity.
If you're reading this, there are better than even odds you are a d-bag.

Gets an A for effort on bringing a woman in tight clothes though...

Somebody should have told her to wear a hat if she caught a piece of brass in the wrong place...

Lastly, Strad, I highly doubt she would have willingly let you put it there, out of pity or otherwise. But I've been wrong before.

I always find the stories of brass whores who feel the need to use threats funny. In my little world threatening a person whom obviously has a loaded gun seems like a one way ticket aboard the fail train.

One way I've found effective to deal with brass thieves is to tell them you're working on load that exceeds maximum specified pressures and you need to inspect the brass for cracks or bulges. They usually assume your brass is going to be worthless to them and go elsewhere (from my experience).

It was all handled in a joking, "it-can-happen-to-the-best-of-us" kinda way but I'm pretty sure that if it would have been me (newbie trapshooter) I would have been asked to pack my bags. One thing I learned from that: Those Perazzi's really have a nice tight pattern, impressive...

It's been my experience that trap shooters are some of the most negligent firearm handlers on the planet. These are the people who I see use such fine inventions such as this piece of work (read the description).

I saw someone with one of those when doing my range duty out at Oakdale last month - I was amused...
