Streicher's out of the Glock business...?

Postby Paul on Thu Dec 17, 2009 1:22 pm

I heard from a co-worker today that Streicher's is no longer a Glock dealer. They said they got out of it to focus on S&W product lines... Other rumors on the street are that they pissed off Glock in some fashion and ruined the business relationship. Thought it was interesting, don't know if anyone else heard anything about it.

I should add that I did not bother taking the time to call Streicher's to confirm this... I much prefer to leave this up to wild accusations and internet rumors.

If Streicher's thinks they are going to stay in business selling anything less than PERFECTION, they've got another thing coming! Out of business +/- 6 months.

I'm a big Glock fan... But I find it ironic that they keep releasing new models and improving on "PERFECTION".

They have to incorporate new technologies that weren't in existence till now. If they just sat around and used 100 year old ******* designs, and resources they would just be another 1911.

Walk into a gun store and ask to see a Glock 1911.

Report back.

To be fair, many of the "improvements" come from customer feedback... RTF, Ambi Mag Release, take down lever... ETC. Perfection is different for everyone...

I know how much Strad likes to support local businesses.... Maybe he could call up Mark Koscielski and see if he can get working on that GSSF issue.

Randy Hengl (before he retired) was modifying Glock frames to change the grip angle slightly and add a 1911 style grip safety.

Ahhh one step closer to perfection. Now all they need is a steel frame, and a single stack magazine.

And to be colored pink to match your skirt and pumps.

Strad needs a gun to coordinate with his "working" clothes I suppose.
