Wait, scratch that, nevermind.

EJS... Why do you have to come late to the party and rock the boat? If you read all of the posts you would have realized that Strad is already working on this issue with Mark Koscielski.

Ha! Yeah, those two are long lost best friends. Likely making s'mores and singing campfire songs right now.

Oh, and to answre your question. Late to the party is my specialty. If I can make one person laugh then my job is done here.

Nah... I would think it would be more likely to be one of those nifty two person sweaters.

Do those come in size 5XL?

Anyway. I wonder how much crap a dealer has to put up with to be GSSF. There is only one in the state for a reason I'd think.

Somebody like Larry would have told GSSF where and how to go Eff themselves a long time ago probably. Obviously it isn't all that great for the dealer if Streichers is letting it go. (Assuming glock isn't refusing to renew on their end.)

Who knows... I could see S&W offering a sweet deal and making it part of the contract that they are exclusive with them.

But still... Anyone look into the Kimber issue there?

Won't make a difference to many of us.

And Cpt. Cufflink...... Sometimes the truth just plain hurts.

And also is hilarious.

ETA Also, if you can't take a joke, you need to take the necessary steps to make sure you aren't the butt of them. :P

Their contract with Glock expires on 12/31/09 and they will not be renewing it. They are going to be pretty much an exclusive S&W dealer.

I sent them a letter also. They told me i could still get the $398 price and the $444 price on gun i ordered or bought before the first, but after that they would sell out the rest until they were gone. Not that it reallly bothers me two much as the $450 for a M&P with 3 mags and Trijicon sights fitted at the factory is more up my street. But i figure i should own a glock just so i can have a shower gun so i think i am off to buy one cheap while they still have them.

Forgive me for not understanding, but do you mean that you can still order an LE Glock through them if you do so before the end of the year?

When I talked to them today they said they were not accepting any orders... Only selling the stock on hand.

Oh, okay. I didn't realize their Glock prices were that low (if Strad's post on them selling G17s for less than $350 is true). I might have to go and check to see what they have left. I've been meaning to get a G21.

Either way, it's better than paying $549 at Gander Mountain for a used one.

Just so you're clear. These low prices are most often on a used gun, or a gun bought through the GSSF program. Their normal prices aren't bad, but you aren't getting a NIB Glock for $350 unfortunately. Unless you are law enforcement. Even then not likely for $350. I haven't seen a new GSSF gun for less than $398.
