Official name of Bill's Gun Shop and Range

Postby phorvick on Wed Oct 17, 2007 7:44 am

So, I had never looked at a receipt from Bill's before (Robbinsdale) when paying for the classroom space/range fees for our classes.

So, trivia question (or was it just me that did not know....)..and this is a 5 point toss-up...

What is the apparent real corporate name of Bill's Gun Shop and Range ?

I am curious if it was general knowledge....it was news to me, but then I never look at receipts to see corporate names!

Anyone know?

The receipt that is needed is the automatic bank deposit slip for the range...it shows the actual name, not the DBA.

OOo oo oo Mr. Kotta ...

I knew the answer. The name used is the name listed on our FFL, which was the business name used by the former owner. An FFL is always tied to a business name and address, and it can never be altered, renamed or changed if we want to sell guns at this location.

Found the answer some time back when asking a firearms manufacturer (SKYY... IIRC) who they had as local rep.

/me has brought many lefties there

Some won't even listen to a conservative view point on other matters, but they learned and now have a different view, at least on firearms.

Wow, I remember when Bill's Gun Shop was in Lilydale and Bill still ran things.

Back then my receipts said "William Penny Co.".
I will never apologize for being an American.
